Special
Cigar Society Meeting OFF SITE, Tuesday, June 19, 5-8pm |
On this coming
Tuesday we will convene a special Cigar Society Fumada
Informal at the home of club member Gus Higginson, on Stratford
Place east of
Broadway, in Lake View. Mr. Higginson tells us, "If the
weather holds out I imagine that people will gravitate to the
upper-level deck, by my studio, but smoking is permitted anywhere on
the premises, without exception." Valet parking is available, or you may take
the CTA Red Line to Addison and stroll over. Please RSVP to
Curtis Tuckey by this Sunday to
help us plan appropriately. Our host will provide snacks and
cold gin; for other spiritous libations as well as cigars, please
bring your own. There is no charge for this event.
Augustus V. M. Higginson II (UCSB '81) is an artist and art historian
who works for the Chicago Architecture Foundation.
Among other things,
Mayan Temples, Art Deco interiors, and Southeast Asian palace
structures graced by figures in all manner of exotic costume can be
found in his paintings. He is the grandson of Chicago
architect Augustus Higginson (1866-1915). [pP]>blackhawk 2 serial code crack
